Sacha Sauda is not a new religion, cult, sect or wave. Sacha Sauda is that spiritual activity by which God is worshipped under the guidance of the Satguru. This path of God realization has been coming down ages since the earliest times. Many saints and seers incarnated in this mortal world and inspired us to do this Sacha Sauda and became the guiding lights of spirtuality. These saints and seers were knowers of this supreme science and tried to make this mystical subject easy for the common man. One such torchbearer of spirituality was Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj who did the most noble of services to mankind by establishing in 1948 the spiritual college of Dera Sacha Sauda in order to save people from the complexities, malpractices and superficial rituals that had been afflicting religion and for the salvation of souls.

Large blood donation and medical checkup camp held

November 29, 2008 (Sirsa):  Dera Sacha Sauda’s Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force organised a large blood donation and medical checkup camp here at Shah Satnam Ji Dham, Sirsa today.  His Holiness Gurmeet Ram-Rahim Singh Ji Insan inaugurated these camps by joining ribbons, which is a custom unique to the Dera.  In the blood donation camp 990 units of blood was collected, whereas hundreds of people benefited from the medical checkup camp.  The blood donation camp was held for the benefit of children suffering from thalassemia and for the Indian Army.  Guruji gave his blessings to the donors and also met the doctors who had come to offer their services at the medical checkup camp.

People intending to donate blood had begun forming long queues from the early morning itself, and great enthusiasm was seen among them regarding the camp.  Significantly, the number of women was not far behind men.  The teams that participated and collected blood at the camp were from the Armed Forces Transfusion Center, New Delhi lead by Col. Lavan Singh; from PGIMS, Rohtak lead by Dr. Pawan and Dr. Sunil; and from Civil Hospital, Sirsa lead by Dr. Rohtash and Dr. Ashwini Sharma.  The first team collected 447 units while the second one collected 364 and the third 179 units.

The doctors in charge of the teams commented that the spirit and enthusiasm shown by the blood donors was something they had never seen anywhere else.  Dr. Sunil, in-charge of the PGIMS, Rohtak team was highly appreciative of this effort by Dera Sacha Sauda for children suffering from thalassemia and said that these children need blood on a monthly basis and without it they could even die.  Dr. Rohtash and Dr. Ashwini Sharma of the Civil Hospital team said that there was none to match Dera Sacha Sauda in the field of blood donation, adding that all their blood requirements were met here.

Some of the blood donors including Kulwinder from Jagraon, Chanchal from Karnal, Saroj from Abohar, Manju from Taran Taaran, Ratanpal from Dhoori, Komal from Muktsar, and Subedar Baljinder Singh from Panipat when interviewed said that they were donating blood because of Guruji’s inspiration.  They said that it was a good feeling to donate blood and that if a life could be saved through their blood then there would not be a more meritorious act than that.  They also said that donating blood for soldiers who risk their lives for the country was a matter of great pride for them.

The chairman of Shah Satnam Ji Health Care Wing, Dr. Shaan-e-Meet Insan and the spokesperson of Dera Sacha Sauda, Dr. Aditya Insan were among the prominent people present on the occasion.

In the medical checkup camp, patients with cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, skin diseases, eye diseases, etc. were checked.  Many eminent doctors from the country provided their services in this camp.  Hundreds of patients were checked and given counseling and medicines in the camp.
